RACE DAY: 29TH OF JUNE 2024 

 

 

A unique race organized in Kackar Mountains, the most beautiful mountainside of Turkey. The most exclusive point of East Black Sea and Kafkas Caucasian geographies. Old forests, magnificent highlands, specific cultural structure, flora diversity, wonderful summits and rich zoological population of KACKAR MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK. 1) Terms of Participation 

Any person older than 18 years can participate the race. Click to upload medical certificate

2) Registry

The participants who were registered via http://www.ultrakackar.com/eng website will run the race. The last date of registry is 27th JUNE, 2024. The maximum number of participants is 500, registry will over by this limit.

4) What is included in registry fee?

 

  • Jersey Number
  • Runner T-shirt 
  • Timer Chip (as supplied by organization)
  • Medal (All runners successfully reach the finish line will take a participation medal) 
  • Intermediate point of food and fluid support
  • Finisher meal
  • Transport from Cinciva to Galler Duzu (55k)

5) Refunding terms for registry fee

  • No refund the payment.

  • 15K Kackar Short Trail: 300 persons 
  • 55K Kackar Ultra: 200 persons

11) Compulsory Equipments

Equipments will be checked before run. Racers lacking equipments will not be accepted into run. Organization have right to check the equipments in race field.

15K MAKREVIS RUN

  • Appropriate shoes
  • Jersey number visibly attached onto body; number shall never changed from its original size. 
  • ID Card 
  • Mobile phone (the telephone numbers of organization and emergency calls –provided before race– shall be saved into contact list and mobile phone must be protected against water)
  • Water can (at least 1 L capacity)
  • Whistle (whistles on bag are acceptable)
  • Glass (there will be no plastic glasses on checkpoints)
  • Backpack or belt
  • Timer Chip (as supplied by organization)

 

55K KACKAR ULTRA / EQUIPMENT CHECK LIST

  • Appropriate shoes
  • Jersey number visibly attached onto body; number shall never changed from its original size. 
  • ID Card 
  • Mobile phone (the telephone numbers of organization and emergency calls –provided before race– shall be saved into contact list and mobile phone must be protected against water)
  • Emergency blanket (thermal first aid blanket)
  • Long sleeved upper - inner cloth
  • Waterproof upper - outer cloth (hooded, transparent poncho etc. will not be accepted)
  • Gloves
  • Beret or bandana
  • Headlamp and spare batteries (in working conditions) 
  • Water can (at least 1 L capacity)
  • Whistle (whistles on bag are acceptable)
  • Glass (there will be no plastic glasses on checkpoints)
  • Backpack
  • Food (enough for at least 5 hours)
  • Timer Chip (as supplied by organization)

Disqualified racers will not be allowed to continue the race. 1 hour punishment will be added for racers having batons, in case they leave their batons during the race.

13) Rewards

  • There will be no money prize, if any, sponsors' rewards will be given. 
  • First tree racers general classification of ultra marathon  will take plate. Other category owners will take medals. 

14) Letter of consent

Ultra marathons are organizations having risks due to conditions such as morphology, wild animals, loneliness in nature. All racers participating to the organization must have self-sufficiency features. All racers must sign the letter of consent provided before race.

15) Usage of visual materials 

Registered participants are considered giving consent to use photos and videos taken by them during the event for the purpose of promotion.

16) Security and Health

Organization have right to stop, shorten or cancel the race due to weather conditions (i.e. intense fog, storm). This kind of modifications will be reported to racers before or during (at check points) the run. Participants are responsible to conform the decisions made.

There will medical teams and search/rescue squads at important check points and places the organization consider it necessary through the race, and these points will be informed. If found necessary, medical teams will make a medical examination on racers, and in case of health risk conditions for running, may prohibit racer to continue running. Participants are responsible to conform the decisions made.
